The National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) project is located on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Haihe River in Tianjin Jinnan District, covers an area of 131 hectares. It is a national exhibition center jointly built by the Ministry of Commerce and Tianjin.

Tianjin OTAi is responsible for the steel structure roof waterproofing project of the first phase of the National Convention and Exhibition Center project，basement and roof waterproofing works in the first-phase comprehensive supporting area. The 400,000 square meter metal roof profiled metal plate interlayer adopts the world's most high-end thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) waterproofing membrane.

Tianjin OTAi TPO waterproofing membrane is made of raw materials imported from Basel in Europe, and has passed the test of the American FM standard. It has good performance in flame retardant, wind resistance and hail resistance etc. The artificial climate is resistant to aging up to 9000 hours.

The planting roof part adopts a new type of root puncture-resistant PVC waterproof membrane, which passed the root puncture resistance test of the Beijing Institute of Landscape Architecture again in 2019, and is the most cost-effective root puncture-resistant product in basement waterproofing.

Abstract:

07 Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport

The new T3A terminal project of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport is the largest and most well-equipped airport core hub project in southwest China, with a total construction area of about 530,000 square meters. During the construction of the project, BNBM Waterproofing mainly participates in the waterproof construction of its underpass tunnel and comprehensive pipe gallery runway, command center roof and supporting project roof, airport runway and some ancillary houses, garage roof and culvert roof, etc., providing it with more than 70,000 square meters of elastomer modified bitumen waterproofing membrane, cross-linked reactive self-adhesive waterproofing membrane, reactive cross-membrane wet paving waterproofing membrane, root-resistant SBS modified bitumen waterproofing membrane and other material.

08 China-Laos Railway Yuanjiang Special Bridge

The China-Laos Railway starts from Kunming, Yunnan, China in the north and reaches Vientiane, the capital of Laos, in the south. It is the first international railway mainly invested and constructed by the Chinese side, jointly operated, and directly connected to the Chinese railway network, with a total length of 1,035 kilometers using Chinese technical standards and equipment. The Yuanjiang Special Bridge is a control project of the China-Laos Railway, one of the most difficult projects in the whole line, located in Yuanjiang County, Yunnan Province, with a total length of 832.2 meters, of which the steel trusses are 768 meters long and the total weight is about 21,000 tons.

BNBM Waterproofing provides more than 310,000 square meters of chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) waterproofing membrane and other material for the construction of China-Laos Railway.

09 Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is a super-large cross-sea corridor connecting Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao, with a total length of 55 kilometers, making it the longest cross-sea bridge in the world. BNBM Waterproofing mainly participated in the waterproofing construction of the Gongbei Tunnel Waterproofing Project of the Zhuhai Connecting Line of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the waterproofing construction of the Island Tunnel Asphalt Paving Project, providing about 350,000 square meters of waterproof material.

04 Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Center

Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Center is the main venue of the 11th National National Games, with a total construction area of about 584,000 square meters. During the construction of the project,BNBM Waterproofing provided more than 680,000 square meters of polymer-modified bitumen self-adhesive waterproofing membrane, non-curing rubber bitumen waterproofing coating, JS polymer cement waterproof coating, cement-based permeable crystalline waterproofing coating, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) waterproofing membrane, elastomer-modified bitumen waterproofing membrane and other material.

05 Beijing Daxing International Airport

Beijing Daxing International Airport is located in Daxing District, Beijing, with a construction area of more than 1.2 million square meters and an annual passenger throughput of 100 million passengers. It has a terminal of nearly 700,000 square meters and 92 passenger aircraft slots.In the construction of the project, BNBM Waterproofing mainly participates in the waterproof construction of its supporting fuel supply projects, aviation gas stations, airport oil depots, basement roofs and other parts, providing more than 100,000 square meters of elastomer-modified bitumen waterproofing membrane.

06 Xiong'an Station

As the first large-scale infrastructure project in Xiong'an New Area, Xiong'an Station is a transportation artery integrating national railway, subway and municipal administration, with a total scale of 13 platforms and 23 lines, with a total construction area of 475,200 square meters. During the construction process, BNBM Waterproofing mainly undertook the waterproof construction of its bridge deck, bridge connection, station building surface and other parts, and provided more than 110,000 square meters of TPO reinforced waterproofing membrane, two-component polyurethane waterproof coating and other material.

Abstract:

Recently, the "2022 China's Top 100 Buildings" was released, covering venues, transportation hubs, super high-rise buildings, traffic engineering, bridges and other aspects. Thereinto, 9 projects, including Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center, Xi'an Silk Road International Convention and Exhibition Center, Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center, Xiong'an Station, and Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, which were built by BNBM Waterproofing, were selected on the list.

01 Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center

Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center is the main venue and track venue of the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games in 2022, located on the south bank of the Qiantang River in Hangzhou. In the waterproof construction of the single-ply building of the main stadium, BNBM waterproofing composite waterproof system (high-performance coating + weather resistant waterproof membrane) is adopted, and the waterproof material use area exceeds 400,000 square meters.

02 Xi'an Silk Road Convention and Exhibition Center

Xi'an Silk Road International Convention and Exhibition Center is located on the banks of the Bahe River in Xi'an Chanba Ecological Zone, and is a key project of Xi'an construction. During the construction of the project, BNBM Waterproofing mainly undertakes the construction of its basement floor, side wall, garage roof, roof and other waterproof parts, and provides more than 320,000 square meters of polymer self-adhesive membrane waterproof membrane, root puncture resistant (PVC) waterproof membrane, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) self-adhesive waterproof membrane, TPO reinforced waterproof membrane and other material.

03 Tianjin National Exhibition and Convention Center

Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center has a total construction area of 1.38 million square meters. It is the third national-level convention and exhibition center jointly built by the Ministry of Commerce and the Tianjin Municipal Government after Shanghai and Guangzhou. In the construction of the project, BNBM Waterproofing mainly undertakes the waterproof construction of its basement, roof and other parts, and provides more than 770,000 square meters of TPO reinforced waterproof membrane, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) waterproof membrane, polymer cement waterproof coating and other material.

Qingdao·SCO Pearl International Expo Center

Abstract:

Qingdao·SCO Pearl International Expo Center project is located on the north shore of the open water of Ruyi Lake in the SCO Demonstration Zone, and consists of a comprehensive hall, a cultural exhibition area of SCO elements, a multi-functional hall, and a central square. It is a key project of SCO Demonstration Zone in Qingdao, Shandong Province, and a landmark building integrating functions such as conference and exhibition, sightseeing and tourism, commodity exhibition and sales, cultural exchange, and commercial services.

BNBM OTAi Waterproof is very honored to participate in the waterproofing construction of Qingdao·SCO Pearl International Expo Center project, which a total construction area of 168,800 square meters. BNBM OTAi participated in the steel structure metal roof waterproofing project with an area of about 44,300 square meters.

Waterproof material selection:

- OTAi® TPO reinforced waterproofing membrane (P type)

- OTAi® TPO self-adhesive waterproofing membrane (SA type)

BNBM OTAi has a waterproof system suitable for all kinds of single-layer roofing. The main roofing part of this project is made of OTAi®2.0mm thickness TPO waterproofing membrane (reinforced in the fabric), and the non-perforated mechanical fixed installation method is adopted; for the partial roofing, the 1.5mm thickness self-adhesive TPO waterproofing membrane is selected, and all lap joints are welded by hot air to form a whole waterproof layer.

BNBM OTAi TPO waterproofing membrane is manufactured by imported raw materials, and the series of products have passed the testing of national standards, and US FM certification. OTAi TPO waterproof membrane has good performance in flame retardant, wind resistance, hail resistance and other indicators. Meanwhile weather resistance and low temperature bending are far beyond the national standard level.
